The Diana Resource Centre is located at the Institute of Hospice and Palliative Care in Africa 1st Floor, Rutamwebwa House. The Centre supports teaching, study and research with a wide range of resources in the field of palliative care and related medical fields in form of books, journals, reports, access to databases, newspapers, newsletters, photographs etc. Users can also benefit from the available e-resources that include Hinari, Libhub, open access e-journals, open access e-books, thesis and dissertations. Other services include a well-equipped computer laboratory, a comfortable reading space, printing, scanning and photographing.
1. Opening hours:
The Resource Centre is open Monday to Friday from 8.00am to 5.00 pm and is closed on weekends.
During the period when students are in residence the Resource Centre is open Monday to Friday from 8.00am to 8.00pm and on weekends from 9.00 am to 2.00pm.
The Resource Centre remains closed on public holidays.
2. Facilities Access
The Resource Centre is available to registered students and HAU team members. External users with permission may be allowed to access the facilities.
