IHPCA Scholarships

Applications for scholarships are done through the Academic Registrar’s office. Application for financial assistance should be done at the time of application for a course. Scholarship assistance if available is distributed through a clear policy directed by the IHPCA Scholarship Committee

Sam Potts Memorial Scholarship Fund

Applications for the above scholarship are invited from applicants who have been accepted to study for the Diploma in Palliative Care Programme at the Institute of Hospice and Palliative Care in Africa for the academic year commencing August 2017.

Sam Potts Memorial Scholarship is an education fund created by Harry Potts in memory of his son, Sam who was born in Uganda and returned and died in Uganda from cancer in 2011. He received palliative care from Hospice Africa Uganda before he died.
